INTERNAL WALL INSULATION

Internal wall insulation is a heavy duty way of insulating a solid bricked property. In a solid bricked house, up to 45% of the heat is lost through the walls so it's extra important to have them insulated.

INTERNAL WALL INSULATION

TO IMPROVE COMFORT AND SAVE ENERGY

Traditional solid wall homes lose a large amount of heat through the walls, making them cold and expensive to heat. Internal wall insulation is an effective solution that improves energy efficiency without changing the external appearance of the property.

Before starting any work, we treat any damp or moisture issues to ensure the wall is dry and stable. A timber frame is then installed on the inside of the wall. Insulation is fitted between the timber studs and covered with plasterboard, followed by a smooth plaster finish. This process adds approximately 100 millimetres to the wall thickness.

Once complete, you will have a clean, freshly plastered wall that keeps heat in and reduces your energy bills. It also makes the home warmer and more comfortable all year round.

All fixtures such as skirting boards, architraves, radiators, sockets, and light switches are carefully removed and refitted after the installation is finished.

The work comes with a 25 year guarantee and meets all industry standards for energy efficiency upgrades.

You may also be eligible for a fully funded installation through government grants such as ECO4 or the Great British Insulation Scheme.
