The Heat Network Efficiency Scheme provides funding to public, private, and third sector organisations to upgrade existing district or communal heating systems in England and Wales. These projects often operate below optimal performance, resulting in higher costs and poor outcomes for both customers and network operators.

 

A district heating network serves multiple units from a shared boiler or plant room. This can range from just two properties to an entire town or city. We have experience working on projects of all sizes.

 

The goal of HNES is to reduce operating costs for network owners and deliver more affordable energy to end users. This is achieved by installing new meters, upgrading plant rooms, replacing radiators, or in some cases, installing completely new heating systems.
